Sydney based ,Focalpoint Home specializes in handmade textile items such as Fouta Towels (or Hammam Towels) from Tunisia in North Africa. Principles are a husband and wife team Jane Tryon and Mourad Nafti. Jane studied Interior Design at the University of Technology in Sydney, and has worked as a stylist, florist, retailer and designer. Her time in Tunisia led  to an investigation of the fabulous handcrafts from North Africa, which led to a passion for the fouta. Mourad Nafti sources  suppliers in Tunisia: concentrating on fair trade practices.
They are attentive to the long term development and preservation of the traditional arts.
